Fat-Suit Album Launch
Fat-Suit hit the road in support of their new album, recorded LIVE in Drygate Brewery. A mainstay on the thriving Scottish jazz scene, the band features many of Scotlands leading lights.
The album also features special guests including Johnny Woodham (Alfa Mist, Tom Misch, Rex Orange County), and Davie Dunsmuir (Billy Cobham). Fat-Suit take influence from the sounds of the Brownswood recordings, the UK underground jazz scene, and the broad soundscapes of Scottish folk. Within the collective are multi disciplined musicians of jazz, folk, rock, and electronic worlds. They take the stage as an 8-piece on a late club slot, 14 in a concert hall or theatre, to 30 strong in the studio.
In the past couple of years the band have taken in festivals such as Love Supreme, Boomtown Fair, Green Man, London Jazz Festival, Vsetin Jazz Festival (CZ), and Art Jazz Co-operation Festival (UA).
